Shri Kamlaker Misra completed his articleship at S K Misra & Gujarati, where he gained extensive experience in bank and statutory audits from 1986 to 1994, until he became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in 1994. Following his tenure as CFO at Banaras Beads Limited, an export house in Varanasi, until 2000, he relocated to Delhi. There, he joined the Ministry of Railways' PSU, Pipavav Railway Corporation Limited (PRCL), leading the accounts and finance department until 2009. Subsequently, Mr. Misra became a partner at the prestigious Chartered Accountancy firm Mukesh Aggarwal & Co in New Delhi in 2009, and in 2012, he took on the role of Senior Audit Manager at M/s V Sahai Tripathi & Co. At both firms, he played a pivotal role in business development and led the execution of various audits, including statutory, internal, concurrent, and stock audits, primarily in the banking and PSU sectors.

During his tenure with V Sahai Tripathi & Co, Mr. Misra significantly contributed to business promotion and specialized in auditing for banks and Project Implementation Units (PIUs) of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). He has amassed over eight years of experience in PSU audits (both internal and statutory) for organizations such as the Food Corporation of India (FCI), NHAI, National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), and various banks. In 2020, he joined S K Misra & Gujarati (SKMG) as the Head of the Noida office.
