About Us
The Beginning
The firm was founded by Mr. S K Misra Chartered Accountant who was practicing in Varanasi since 1949 i.e., since inception (the Chartered Accountants Act came into existence in the year 1949) as the proprietor of S K Misra & Co.
Transition & Evolution
In the year 1982, the firm was joined by Mr. M D Gujrati, Chartered Accountant (LOD) and the constitution of the firm was changed from proprietorship to partnership firm. Since then, the firm is providing professional services as Accountancy and Audit firm in the name and style of S K Misra & Gujarati (SKMG).
Our Esteemed Legacy
The firm has the credit of being one of the oldest firms in eastern UP. Shri S K Misra left for heavenly abode in the year 2009 and Shri Madan Das Gujrati left for heavenly abode in 2021.
Continuity and Change
Deepali Parekh Chartered Accountant joined the firm in the year 2009 after the demise of Shri S K Misra, she served the firm for 12 years and resigned in January 2022. Mr. Kamlaker Misra Chartered Accountant joined the firm as a partner in the year 2014 but left the firm as a partner in 2018 for joining V Sahai Tripathi & Co, a Delhi-based CA firm, to enrich himself in the field of audit of infrastructure bodies and rejoined the firm again in 2020.
Expanding Our Expertise
Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj, Chartered Accountant, joined the firm in 2016. In the year 2017, Ms. Shruti Vij Chartered Accountant (DISA qualified) also joined the firm as a partner. CA Sameer Kumar Pandey, CA Manmohan Jindal (DISA qualified), and CA Parul Tiwari (DISA qualified) have also joined the firm in 2020 to add strength to the firm in the field of banks and PSU audits. Recently, Mr. Shashank Upadhyay, Mr. Dipak Kumar Jha & Mr. Deepanshu Khattar joined the firm to add their expertise.
